Your initial ‘orientation to fishing’, getting them set up on the river and all the teaching about trout feeding, nymphs and dry flies was superb! “The best experience – even for beginners Cooper and Katie are masters at their craft of fly fishing. My teenage son, his girlfriend and my husband singed up for a half day wade. “We have been wanting to try Fly Fishing for a while. We gave it a go and decided to use Anderson’s Fish Camp. Wow- I am so glad we did. Katie met us right on time at our hotel and we followed her to the river we were going to fish in. She provided everything needed as well as great instructions on how to fish and where. It was me , my wife and 18 yr old son. We had never experienced fly fishing before. Katie is the most patient person I have met as she expertly guided us to the right spot and we started getting hits. Listen to her instructions and you will catch fish. These guys are great a husband and wife team who are really into sharing their passion of the sport and rivers with others. We will be back Katie. “If you are going to fish anywhere in the Vail Valley / Beaver Creek area you can not go wrong with Anderson Outfitters. I have been fishing with guide Katie for 10 years now and have never had anything other than stellar trips. From fishing with my kids when they were youngsters to larger multi-guide groups Anderson can cover it all. Katie knows that I enjoy dry fly fishing and always scouts pools for rising fish before we head out for the day. When with young kids they find areas with easy casting lines and large high rocks to stand on. I recently fished with Katie in March, the banks covered in snow & of course more than just a chill in the air and we had a spectacular half day. “Incredible Fishing w/Guide Katie Anderson” “For the second year in a row I had the pleasure of fishing the Eagle River through Gore Creek Outfitters with guide Katie Anderson. This year it was adults only so we hit some waters more difficult to enter than with kids. The fishing was spectacular and Katie worked hard examining the surrounding, looking at the hatches, tying and re-tying flies, adding weights, changing depths and everything a seasoned guide would do to ensure maximum number of bites. I am already looking forward to the summer of 2015.”

“Fly fishing made simple Anderson Outfitters came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The door to door experience from the Castle in Arrowhead where we were staying was fantastic. All the attention to detail created a superb experience.
